I have the following regular slot available for an immediate start:
Tuesdays at 1:30pm
Please contact me to book a consultation.
I am currently able to see clients face to face at the Practice Rooms with safety measures in place to reduce the risk of virus transmission. The room I work in is large and allows space for social distancing.
I am also able to offer remote sessions via Zoom or Skype if this is preferred or necessary due to the need for shielding or self-isolation.
Each client will have different needs and wishes in this regard, so this is something I will talk through with you so that we can try and find a way of working together that mitigates risk, but is also effective therapeutically.
I may also need to adapt this policy if the government guidelines change or as required by my professional body (BACP).
My private practice is open as follows:
Tuesday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Thursday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
On other days of the week I work at Gloucestershire College and am not available to offer counselling appointments, although I am happy to take enquiries by phone or email at any time.
I will respond to all enquiries as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, although this may take longer if you are contacting me at the weekend.
The first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I believe it is important that you feel as comfortable as possible with me before making a decision about whether you would like to work with me. I will also need to have a sense of what you are looking for, so that I can be sure that I am the right person to help.
Regular counselling sessions
If you choose to continue then we will usually meet at the same regular time each week. Counselling is offered as open-ended, which means that it can be long or short term according to your needs.
All therapy appointments take place in the beautiful, peaceful environment of The Practice Rooms in Cheltenham Town Centre, close to public transport links and car parks.
